- POSTED ON 09.11.2011
Tomi Dieguez was born in Buenos Aires back in the days when it wasn’t yet cool to live there. After being around in the BA visual scene for a while, (Ad agencies, Art galleries, street art...) trying to understand what the hell was he really really into, finally founded Punga Visual Consorcio in 2002. Since that year to this day, he has garnered the most diverse international acknowledgments for his performance as a director in advertising and broadcasting. He was one of the New Directors in Saatchi & Saatchi’s New Directors Showcase at the Cannes Lions Festival 2011. The production output, under his strict supervision and guidance, includes TV commercials, branding of TV networks, cover art for music records, artistic installations and music videos. Tomi Dieguez is also known as “Lobo Tomi”, his alter ego when he climbs upon those funky stages with his band The Ovnis.
